All our senses get alert and prepare for a extreme situation of either fighting or run away from the stress causing factor.
The changes associate with increasing heart rate due to increase of blood pressure. The blood tends to provide more supply towards heart, muscle, brain by diminishing blood supply to less vital areas like kidney, digestive tracks, skin etc. In addition to this the blood clotting factor within the blood gets increased to prevent hemorrhage during injury. The increase of blood sugar, fats and other energy supplying factors get increased to provide more energy and strength. The body tends to intake more oxygen with faster breathing rate.
